2004 LHGCL QUALIFYING TOURNAMENT

July 31 - August 8, 2004
(With weeknight games during the week in between, if necessary)

IMPORTANT NOTICE:  GAMES IN THE LHGCL 2004 QUALIFYING TOURNAMENT
WILL NOT BE USED TO QUALIFY FOR THE ARLINGTON OR PLANO LEAGUES

The Qualifying Tournament is for Entry into LHGCL Division II only

ENTRY DEADLINE IS WEDNESDAY, JULY 14, 2004
(Application must be RECEIVED by Commissioner by this date)

Games will be played at UTD in Richardson
Dallas Christian College, and Cox Park in Farmers Branch
(Specific Field Assignments for Age Divisions will
be announced after entries are received)

NOTICE: PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS QUALIFYING TOURNAMENT AS A WARM-UP TOURNAMENT OR
JUST TO PLAY GAMES. THIS TOURNAMENT IS MEANT FOR TEAMS WHO HAVE A LEGITIMATE
OPPORTUNITY TO QUALIFY FOR OUR LEAGUE.
The entry fee for our qualifying tournament was raised to $600.  In years past, many teams who knew they weren’t going to qualify for the league would enter our qualifying tournament just to get games or as a warm-up for the Plano/Arlington qualifying tournaments. We hope the higher entry fee will dissuade those teams from entering. When we have so many teams
entered, it makes the playing format unfair for the teams who have a legitimate chance to qualify.
Thank you for your cooperation.
