A list of coaching conflicts (with teams in LHGCL only) for the 2006-2007 Soccer Year (fall & spring seasons).  We will do our best to schedule around coaching conflicts for two teams only.  Coaches who coach more than two teams are on their own.

Special Scheduling Request Guidelines:

1.  Teams may not request any weekends off except teams going to WAGS, or other approved tournaments.  (Teams may be asked to prove they are going to an approved tournament by showing a copy of the acceptance letter, or some other suitable form of proof.)  U17 & U19 teams may request a weekend off in the fall (U16, U17, & U19 in the spring) to attend a “Showcase” tournament.  Their requests will be considered on a case by case basis.

2.  Teams are allowed to pick 5 specific days (specific dates) off to allow
for school sports only - no weekends.  (This does NOT mean that you should pick 5 dates to ask off just without good cause.  A majority of your players must actually be involved in school sports.)  Coaches at this level need to take a player's commitment level into account when selecting members of the team.

3.  We will do our best to schedule around coaching conflicts for
two teams only who play in LHGCL.  Coaches who coach more than two teams are on their own.

4.   Spring Break - teams may request one week of weeknights off ONLY if a majority of their players are
actually going out of town for spring break.  No weekends will be given off for Spring Break. Travel plans should be made to leave after your weekend game(s), and return the next Friday so players will be available for play on the following weekend.

5.   U17 and U19 teams only can request Saturday mornings off for SAT and ACT.

INFORMATION ON SPECIAL SCHEDULING REQUESTS

SEASON DATES: Weeknight games will begin during the week of August 21 and will play weeknight games through September 7. Weekend games will begin on Saturday, September 9. We will not schedule games over the Labor Day weekend.  We try to end the fall season around the 1st weekend of November, but we cannot guarantee when it will end in the event of rainouts.  REMEMBER:  DO NOT SCHEDULE ANY TOURNAMENTS THE WEEKEND OF NOVEMBER 4-5.  THIS WEEKEND IS RESERVED FOR RAINOUT MAKEUP GAMES.
