Rainout information
will not be posted here.
All rainout information will be placed on
the League hotline. On weekdays, we try to make every attempt to make a
decision no later than 3:00 pm and on Saturdays no later than 6:30-6:45 am.
As soon we are certain whether or not we can play, the hotline will be
updated. Please make sure to listen to the entire message in case some
fields are playable or some games are moved to alternate fields. Please
remember that even though the Hotline states that games are being played,
the weather could change after games begin. We will update the hotline
throughout the day as necessary. Therefore, it is wise of you to check the
Hotline throughout the day before you leave for the fields in case changes
are made. If the Hotline does not specifically say your game has been
cancelled or your field is closed, you NEED to show up at game time!
If the message says we have cancelled the games for the entire day, we will
not come back and say any of the games will be played that day.
In the event of storms after the games begin, it is our policy to postpone
games for a period of time to be determined at the fields (could be up to an
hour) to see if it passes. This decision is made by League officials or the
referees.
DO NOT leave the complex. If games are stopped, go to your car
until a decision is made whether to resume play or stop the games. If the
second half of your game has started and the game is called due to weather,
it will be counted as a complete game. All games cancelled entirely will be
rescheduled as soon as possible. Please check the LHGCL web schedules for
make-ups. We will do our best, but we cannot guarantee that your games will
be rescheduled using the conflicts turned in prior to the season. Please
understand that as the season progresses, it may become more difficult to
work with your requests.
