Challenge Game Specifics
Minimum Roster Requirement - Teams challenging into Lake
Highlands must have at least 14 players on their roster. No guest players
are allowed for challenge games.
Playing Format – The Lake Highland Girls Classic League
general rules governing league play will be in effect for these games.
The challenge games will be full-length games. The
challenger must win in regulation play in order to unseat a LHGCL team. A
tie will go to the LHGCL team. There will be no overtime. The game length
for U/11-U/12 is two 30 min. halves
The LHGCL team will be the home team, wearing white. The
challenging team wears a different jersey color.
Each team should fill out a game report and game roster,
found on the LHGCL web site under "FORMS", and bring it to the game. The
game roster is given to the official before the game. The game report is
mailed or faxed to the Age Group Commissioner after the game. The score
should be called in to Janet Campbell within two hours of the game at
817-800-2941.
Referee Pay – It is up to the challenging team to pay the
referees. The following are the referee fees for this league:
U/11-U/12 $24 Middle/$16 Each Line
UTD Field Information – It will be up to the LHGCL team to
turn on and off the lights. They have the combination to the light boxes.
Any LHGCL team that leaves the lights on, with no one warming up for a
next game, will be subject to a $50 fine.
The LHGCL team will sit on the East side of the field.
Both teams need to bring corner flags. Nets are provided.
There is no driving through, dropping off or parking in
the UTD apartment parking lots. Cars parking there for soccer will be
towed and teams are subject to sanctions up to and including forfeiture of
games. Parking is permitted in the grassy field on the South side of the
soccer fields. The lot is accessible by a dirt road off of Campbell just
to the west of the main University drive. Turn right onto the dirt road
between two phone poles. Even though a sign there says no parking beyond
that point, it is now established as a soccer field parking lot. Do not
drive onto the dirt paths or track around the soccer fields. No climbing
fences. No driving onto the grass or dirt paths at the complex. That is
for authorized vehicles only. In addition, no dogs are allowed at the UTD
fields.
We are guests at UTD. Please pick up any trash left around
the field where you play. Leaving trash at the fields is reason to not
extend an invitation into the league to a team.
