RULE REMINDERS

HOME TEAM WEARS WHITE.
How hard is this? This has been a rule since Day 1 in this league. If you are the home team, you show up with white jerseys on. If you are the visitor and the home team does not have on a white jersey, DO NOT change. It is the home team's responsibility to wear white and the visiting team should stick to their guns and not change jerseys. At the very least (and this is really against the rules!) if there is a color conflict, the home team should change into another color. But the rule says HOME TEAM WEARS WHITE!

PARENTAL EJECTIONS
If a parent on a team is told any of the following phrases by the referee:

1. If he/she is asked to leave;
2. If he/she is excused from the field;
3. If the referee points to some other location other than the field suggesting that the parent go there;
4. If the referee suggests the parent stand somewhere other than on the sideline of the field; or
5. Any other phraseology used by the referee to indicate that the parent should not be at the game,

then that means the parent has been ejected from the game and has to leave the field, the parking lot, or any other location where the parent can observe the game. When this happens, the parent cannot attend the next game that team actually plays. This is an EJECTION and the parent is SUSPENDED from the next game.

UTD RULES

We have worked hard to provide you with quality playing facilities. Please respect it, or we can make sure your team doesn't get the opportunity to use the facilities again.

Please remember that developing this complex is an on-going process that takes a lot of money. If anyone out there would like to get involved with the board in helping to improve the complex, raise money, donate much-needed items, etc., please let us know. We could use all the help we can get.

HERE ARE SOME IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS:

TRASH: Don't let it hit the ground. Put all trash (especially used tape) in the trash barrels. Leaving trash on a field can subject your team to a $50 fine. If trash is left by the game ahead of yours, stop the parents as they are leaving the field and ask them to pick it up. If they don't do it, then your team will be responsible. EVERYONE HELP OUT HERE!!

DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT PARKING IN THE APARTMENT PARKING LOT! If violations continue to occur, the gates on the north end of the fields will be locked. On Saturdays park in the large parking lot to the east of the apartments (northeast corner of the complex) or in the gravel parking lot on the southeast corner of the complex. The UTD parking lot on the northeast corner of the complex is off limits on weekdays. The parking lot on the east side of fields 7 & 8 is off limits at all times. The parking issue at UTD is very serious and we are confident we can depend on all parents and spectators to respect the rules. All violators (and possibly their teams) of parking rules may be sanctioned and/or fined by the league.

DO NOT CLIMB THE FENCE. No explanation needed.

DO NOT -- PLEASE -- DO NOT drive your car on the walkway between the fields or on the jogging path..

VARSITY FIELD #1: The first field in the complex - the one with the green fence around it - is the college's varsity field. STAY OFF!!! IT IS OFF LIMITS TO EVERYONE, PLEASE! No warm up, no individual playing around, no trespassing at all. You can't even walk through the north gate to get to the other fields. Please just go in the main entrance to the complex.

	SEATING: We don't have many bleachers at this point in time, so everyone needs to remember their lawn chairs. At UTD, the teams sit together on the side opposite the spectators.

"FACILITIES": There are bathrooms located in the concession building at the main complex For fields 7 and 8, there is a portable potty located between the fields on the east side.

NETS/FLAGS: The nets will be up on all the fields. Each team is responsible for 2 corner flags. You don't have to worry about taking the nets down after the last game of the day. We're leaving them up, even on #7 and #8.

Drop-offs: PLEASE do not stop on University Drive to drop off your child or equipment. It is not safe and it blocks traffic. If you’re seen dropping off there your team will be fined $25.
