One of the things LHGCL is proudest of is the girls in our league that go on to play soccer in college. Because of the tremendous competitive level of our league, a majority of "our" girls are recruited heavily by major colleges all over the country. Not only are the colleges after them for their soccer playing talents, but because of their academic excellence. A lot of these girls receive both athletic and academic scholarships. We believe the wholesome competitive atmosphere of the Lake Highlands Girls Classic League plays a major role in preparing these girls for their college soccer careers.
