COMPETITIVE
CLUB ADVISORY COUNCIL MEETING
SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 6, 2005
4:30 PM
North Texas State
Soccer Association
1740 South I-35, Suite 105
Carrollton TX 75006
Be sure to come around to the back of the building and enter through the
southern-most door.
Registered Competitive Clubs may send a representative(*) to be on the
NTSSA Competitive Club Advisory Council. The Competitive Club
Advisory Council elects the members of the NTSSA Competitive
Committee and discusses issues that impact competitive soccer in
North Texas.
(*) Each registered competitive club with at least six (6) teams, may
designate a representative to represent the club on many issues that
can affect your team and your player.
WE WILL BE VOTING ON RULE CHANGES TO BE SUBMITTED TO
NTSSA TO BE VOTED ON AT THE JANUARY 2006 SEMI-ANNUAL
MEETING at our next meeting. If your club wants a voice, register now
and send your representative to the meeting:
Some of the proposed rule changes we will review include:
Roster signing date
Player transfer rules and policies
Re-define "free agent"
Guest player releases - should NTSSA be able to approve?
Team/Club Fact Sheets
Several revisions to the NTSSA Code of Ethics.
Would your club like to have a say in (or just a look at) these proposed new
rules?
Then encourage your club to designate a representative to come to the meeting,
bring your club's paperwork, and sign up to be a Registered Competitive Club
in North Texas.
Your representative must bring the completed form and a copy
of all rosters to the meeting to register. There is no fee to
register. REMEMBER: A roster for each of your teams MUST
accompany the Registration Form.
